POSITION TITLE: Research Assistant (Full-Time/Research Division)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to the Research Department by assisting research coordinators/clinicians with clinical trials. This includes venipuncture, lab processing and shipping, assisting with clinic visits and study-related testing, data management and clerical administrative assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma plus post graduate education or equivalent medical experience. Phlebotomy and lab processing experience a plus. Experience using PC applications in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Knowledge of medical terminology, ability to understand complex instructions, detail oriented. Must have excellent organizational and people skills.

POSITION: Professional Education Program Specialist (1.0 FTE)
REPORTS TO: Professional Education Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purpose of this position is to coordinate, implement and evaluate ongoing professional education programs. The position provides expertise and assures accreditation compliance for assigned programs. The incumbent will apply a flexible and effective range of skills–planning, project management, grant writing, liaison to physicians and professional education-related committees, and managing contracts and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Two or more years experience in project management. Minimum of one year administrative medical education experience including familiarity with accreditation standards and processes. Excellent written and oral communication, time management, organizational and customer/clientservices skills.

POSITION TITLE: Health and Wellness Program Intern (1.0 FTE, temporary)
REPORTS TO: Manager, Health and Wellness Programs
PROGRAM PURPOSE:
The internship program at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) is designed to give the student a professional experience in his/her major area.
Eligibility:
Eligible students will be final semester/quarter undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited health-related degree program with a significant interest in and dedication to primary prevention. Specific disciplines may include, but are not limited to, public health, health education, exercise science, nutrition and behavioral psychology.
