IRB Regulatory Specialist

POSITION TITLE: IRB Regulatory Specialist (Full-Time/Research Department)
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position will create and maintain centralization of all regulatory and IRB documents for the research department of the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete or assist in completing IRB applications including consent forms and all institutional and sponsor required forms. Coordinate IRB meetings to ensure principal investigator and staff has necessary information and attends IRB review meeting. Maintain all regulatory materials including CV’s professional licenses, lab certificates, IRB certificates, etc. Train and updates staff on IRB policies and procedures. This position will be involved with quality improvement initiatives that include but not limited to, auditing of informed consents and regulatory documents.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Desired Education and Experience
Academic: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: One to three years regulatory experience.
Additional preferred criteria: Strong written and communication skills. Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access). Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task and work independently. Strong commitment to ensure high ethical standards of the IRB and MHIF are met.
