Scott W. Sharkey, MD

Scott W. Sharkey, MD, is an MHIF researcher. His research interests include investigation of biochemical and ultrastructural changes following myocardial infarction in the dog, prospective analysis of hemorrhagic complications during thrombolytic therapy, investigation of outcome in patients with cocaine related chest pain and clinical evaluation of Hewlett-Packard’s MIDA system.
Dr. Sharkey is also a cardiologist at the Minneapolis Heart Institute® at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Director of the Intensive Care Unit at St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
