Title: Graft Integrity in Heart Transplant Mediated by MicroRNAs
Study Sponsor: Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation; funded by a research grant from the Roche Organ Transplant Research Foundation
Principal Investigator: David Feldman, MD, PhD
Study Synopsis: The purpose of the study is to better understand the transplanted heart by studying the blood flow through the heart muscle, microscopic factors within the heart muscle and your clinical picture (how well you do). Serial Cardiac MRI scans will be done. Information from standard of care testing will be correlated with the results of the scan to give a better picture of what happens to a transplanted heart.
Up to 25 participants will be enrolled in this study at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
How do I qualify? You were selected as a possible study participant because you have recently undergone a heart transplant procedure.
Study Status: Enrollment pending
Who do I contact for more information? Charlene Boisjolie, RN, MA, CCRP or contact resarch at 612.863.3890
