Title: IRAD (International Registry for Acute Aortic Dissection)
Study sponsor: W.L. Gore Associates, Inc.
Principal Investigator: Kevin Harris, MD
Study synopsis: IRAD is an international registry that is collecting data on the presenting signs/symptoms for patients with acute aortic dissections (AAD), how the AAD was diagnosed, and what the outcomes are for patients with AAD. The goal is to determine what the standard of care for these patients should be while they are hospitalized and how we can improve upon our current care.
Study status: Recruiting
How do I qualify? Any patient how has had an AAD (type A or B) qualifies. There is no exclusion criteria once a diagnosis has been made since it is a registry.
