The 2026 TMVR/TTVR Planning Workshop brought together a global community of structural heart specialists for an intensive, hands‑on CT planning experience focused on transcatheter mitral and tricuspid interventions. The course was led by Dr. João Cavalcante, Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center and Core Lab, and featured an outstanding faculty lineup of global leaders in the field who guided participants through real‑world cases and step‑by‑step planning workflows. Over 65 attendees from 17 different countries and 17 U.S. states joined the two‑day virtual program, underscoring the worldwide demand for advanced structural imaging education.
Across the two half‑day sessions, participants combined concise, case‑based lectures with structured 3mensio CT planning exercises to deepen their skills in valve‑in‑valve, valve‑in‑ring, valve-in-MAC (Mitral Annular Calcification), and tricuspid procedures. Live demonstrations, guided measurements, and interactive Q&A provided practical frameworks for image acquisition, reconstruction, sizing, and post‑procedure assessment. Attendees left with clearer, more reproducible approaches to CT planning for TMVR and TTVR, ready to apply these insights within their own structural heart programs.
