Dr. Elizabeth Tuohy is a cardiologist at Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute and serves as medical director of the Heart Disease Prevention Clinic at United Hospital in St. Paul. She earned her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency and cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago.

Dr. Tuohy’s clinical interests include heart disease prevention, complex lipid management and general cardiology, as well as interpretation of noninvasive cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear imaging and cardiac CT. She is also active in teaching United Family Medicine residents during her inpatient rounding service at United Hospital. Dr. Tuohy is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the National Lipid Association, and she sees patients in St. Paul, Hastings and Shoreview, Minnesota.
