Dr. Elizabeth Tuohy is a cardiologist at Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute and serves as Medical Director of the Heart Disease Prevention Clinic in St. Paul at United Hospital. She earned her Medical Degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship training at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. 

Dr. Tuohy’s cardiology practice interests include heart disease prevention, complex lipid management, general cardiology, as well as interpretation of multiple modalities of non-invasive cardiac imaging including echocardiography, nuclear imaging and cardiac CT. Dr. Tuohy is also active in teaching the United Family Medicine residents during her inpatient rounding service at United Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and National Lipid Association. Dr. Tuohy sees patients in St. Paul, Hastings, and Shoreview, MN.
